CTCS Worldwide Sdn. Bhd. (CTCS) proudly celebrates another important milestone today as YB Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, Minister of Plantation and Commodities, officially inaugurated CTCS’s new office at Menara PGRM 2, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. The event was further enlivened by the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration and attended by distinguished guests including the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK), YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah Mohd Yusof, Deputy Secretary-General (Commodities & Plantation) of KPK, YBhg. Dato’ Razali Mohamad who is also the Chairman of CTCS, Chairman of MTIB, YB Datuk Larry Sng Wei Shien, Director-General of MTIB, Tuan Saiful Bahri Salleh, CEO of MTC, Puan Noraihan Abdul Rahman, CTCS General Manager, Puan Hamidah Abdullah, along with senior agency officials, national timber industry players, and CTCS vendors.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB), CTCS was established as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to strengthen Bumiputera participation in the timber industry. CTCS’s role as an ‘anchor’ in government procurement and contract negotiations continues to be reinforced, thereby opening up more opportunities and spaces for Bumiputera entrepreneurs in the timber industry to advance and remain competitive.
Through strategic initiatives such as the Timber Verification Service (TVS), CTCS Marketplace, and participation in international exhibitions such as the Borneo Native Festival, ARCHIDEX, and MFFM — CTCS remains committed to creating more opportunities, expanding markets, and elevating local products onto the global stage.
This event is not merely symbolic but represents our unwavering commitment to strengthening the Bumiputera entrepreneurial ecosystem in the timber industry.
