A briefing session for a design competition was held with lecturers and students from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at UiTM Lendu. The briefing aimed to explain the types of designs and suitable materials for creating wooden products.
The briefing was attended by Puan Hamidah Abdullah, En Walter Tan, En Fazrin Rahman and CTCS officers.
This design competition is aimed at discovering new talents capable of producing unique, high-quality wooden products that meet consumer demands.
Through this competition, CTCS also hopes to facilitate collaborative learning between industry and universities. It is hoped that this competition will also benefit Bumiputera entrepreneurs in the wooden product industry and similar sectors.
