The Chairman of CWSB, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli, who is also the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (KPK), made a courtesy visit to the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM), YBhg. Dato’ Indera Nik Nasaruddin Mohd Zawawi, today.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss current issues involving the supply of wooden furniture to schools, particularly in meeting the current needs of the national education sector and addressing the challenges of today. CWSB is responsible for promoting, empowering, and developing the use of wood and wood products from Bumiputera entrepreneurs in the national timber industry.
It is hoped that this courtesy visit will open up opportunities for collaboration between CWSB and KPM. The visit was also attended by the Board of Directors of CTCS Worldwide Sdn. Bhd. (CWSB), YBrs. Ts. Dr. Mohd Nor Zamri Mat Amin, the General Manager of CWSB, Puan Hamidah Abdullah, as well as the Director of Bumiputera Economic Empowerment, MTIB, Haji Norazli bin Ismail.
