The General Manager of CTCS, Puan Hamidah Abdullah, together with YBhg. Dato’ Muhammad Anuar Mat Bakar, Member of the CTCS Board of Directors, and all CTCS officers, paid an official visit to the Tanggam Design Centre (TDC). The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Director of Industry Development, Ts. Farydatul Nazly binti Mohd. Zin; Senior Deputy Director of the Standards, Resources & Industry Support Section, Ts. Dr. ChM. Yeoh Beng Hoong; and Senior Assistant Director, Puan Nik Zuraihah binti Nik Mohammad.
The purpose of the visit was to gain a deeper understanding of Tanggam Design Centre’s functions and roles. CWSB is also exploring potential collaborations with TDC in areas such as wood-based product design development and the marketing of TDC-designed products to broader markets.
This visit is expected to pave the way for strategic partnerships between CTCS and TDC, particularly in enhancing the quality and standards of Malaysian wooden furniture products, with a special focus on empowering Bumiputera entrepreneurs.
